You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist providing technical expertise on highly complex analysis, evaluation, collection, interpretation, or dissemination of information and/or products relative to an assigned intelligence portfolio(s). This position is located in Suitland, MD in the NIMITZ OPERATIONAL INTELLIGENCE CENTER
Duties
You will interpret applicable Intelligence Community (IC) policies to appropriately adapt guidelines to ensure fused knowledge is presented to a broad customer set.
You will make authoritative analytic intelligence assessments on activity within assigned analytic intelligence portfolio.
You will work and collaborate with peers and senior leadership within and across the Intelligence Community to discuss policy and unusual circumstances that impact the global intelligence mission and seeks collaborative support for emerging issues.
You will utilize expertise in intelligence production security classification guidelines ensuring compliance with IC security standards.
You will oversee the reviewing of intelligence analytic products for accuracy and effective contribution towards Nimitz Operational Intelligence Center's overall mission.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
- This position requires a periodic polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You may be required to work overtime, including nights and weekends, as real-world events or Navy activities (to include operations and exercises) require.
- You will be designated as On Call and may serve as a component of a Crisis Response Team (CRT).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: 1) Collaborating with team supervisor on analytic priorities for intelligence research and analysis production of complex data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in assigned portfolios; 2) Reviewing team products for accuracy and completeness and ensuring compliance with IC and Office of Naval Intelligence tradecraft standards, to oversee the production of clear and concise intelligence assessments and other intelligence products which represent the command's position on a specified topic; 3) Presenting and defending command positions on high visibility and often technically controversial issues in assigned areas of expertise and representing the command at various IC activities and agencies; 4) Mentoring civilian and military personnel on the full spectrum of producing comprehensive, in-depth, all source intelligence analysis.
