You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Technical Division (SP20), Launcher Branch (SP22) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Duties
You will review, analyze, and interpret various financial documents and reports, recommending solutions to difficult and complex problems.
You will assist customers in the resolution of problems pertaining to various financial management missions.
You will work with the Branch BFM on all command fiscal year-end issues and appropriation close-out issues. Interpret regulations and directives promulgated by higher authority.
You will cover a variety of resource management disciplines and uses this information to establish, prepare, and disseminate policy and guidance to customers.
You will provide the branch with professional resource management advice and guidance.
You will participate in meetings, task groups, and committees to obtain and disseminate resource management information.
You will attend and participate in conferences, symposiums, seminars, and educational meetings to keep informed of current and proposed techniques related to various aspects of financial management.
You will maintain direct contact with counterparts in other major subordinate commands, as required, to facilitate problem resolution.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: delivering program requirements that effectively align with Programming, Planning and Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) guidance, understanding, advising, and implementing budget plans and reporting accurate statuses utilizing all available tools.
