You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the MARINE CORPS INSTALLATIONS COMMAND of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will identify, define, execute, and oversee the analysis, evaluation, and development of various plans and strategies to ensure financial inventory records are audit-ready.
You will be responsible for analyzing, facilitating, reporting, and providing guidance to establish appropriate controls throughout MCICOM that align with higher headquarters requirements.
You will review subordinate installations' plans and programs and ensures coordinates, authenticates, publishes, and distributes strategic and operational plans and guidance to ensure MCICOM readiness for the full financial statement audit.
You will provide leadership and guidance on managing and conducting novel or nonrecurring operations of particular significance and importance to the MCICOM, and/or Department of Defense (DOD).
You will initiate, lead and conduct complex research/analyses crossing multiple functional disciplines from multiple organizations to assess and evaluate Key Internal Controls for inclusion in MCICOM wide strategic plans and studies.
You will schedule and resolve audit/inspection issues and activities for organizations encompassing a major component (e.g., for a regionwide or center-wide function involving a significant degree of complexity and with interrelated program areas).

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: scheduling and resolving audit/inspection issues and activities for organizations; conducts multidisciplinary teams, conferences, in-process reviews, and planning sessions with senior leaders to establish and implement policy/guidelines, and milestones for internal control and financial statement audit program planning and execution.
