The primary purpose of this position is to Lead and make substantive contributions to Joint cyberspace
operations deliberate planning, both in support of Joint Planning Groups and in direct support of Combatant
Commanders. Draw on recognized expertise in defensive and offensive cyberspace and DOD Information
Network operations to provide leadership for joint deliberate planning on these issues.
Duties
Engages in joint deliberate planning with senior cyberspace operations. Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to identify/discuss and develop common understanding on issues affecting information sharing and operational-level planning.
Provides expert consulting support to the development, review, coordination and cross-regional integration / de-confliction of cyber warfare-related operational-level plans (OPLANs) and orders (OPORDERs). Provides authoritative assessments of and assists in the development and integration of supporting annexes in OPLANs and other contingency and crisis action plans.
Provides recognized-expert consulting support for joint strategy, policy, and doctrine development and program support reviews to assure offensive and defensive cyberspace OAIs provide the desired results in support of the operations and plans.

- The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Sensitive Security Clearance with access to sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).

Qualifications
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

This is a GG-14 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES).The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include: conducting military campaign, contingency and crisis action planning for cyberspace operations in order to provide direct support via offensive and defensive cyberspace operations. apply broad, practical knowledge of cybersecurity principles; insights into the existing and emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities, as well as proposed capabilities being developed to address them; and the framework of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity in orders to collaborate with technical and functional SMEs to evaluate and advocate for training assets and initiatives. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Ability to conduct military/contingency and crisis action planning for cyberspace to assure that offensive and defensive cyberspace Operations, Activities and Investments (OAIs) provide the desired results in support of a supported Combatant Commander's (CCMD's) operations and plans.
2. Skill in applying analytical methods typically employed to support military planning, and to justify
recommended strategies, polices and courses of action.
3. Knowledge of the role of the DOD Information Network (DODIN) in supporting and facilitating military
operations, world-wide.
4. Knowledge of the role of offensive and defensive cyberspace OAIs in supporting and facilitating military
operations, world-wide.
5. Knowledge of and skill in applying the DOD structured Joint Operations Planning Process (JOPP).
6. Knowledge of the DOD organizational structure as it pertains to full spectrum cyberspace operations, including the missions, functions, responsibilities, and interrelationships among CCMDs and DOD elements.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the cyberspace community to write, articulate, vet, and defend plans to support full spectrum cyberspace operations.
