You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the BUSINESS MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVSUP BUSINESS SYSTEMS CENTER. #LI-NAVSUPBSC

Duties

You will ensure contract packages are complete and accurate. You will ensure strict compliance with the rules and regulations for the administration and management of the Government Purchase Card Program. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the branch. You will assign tasks to the branch staff based on commitments and objectives.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Program Analyst work. I have experience planning, directing and coordinating the activities of a branch. I have experience performing the duties of a supervisor to include work prioritization, employee advisement/guidance, planning, assigning and assessing work performed by subordinates. I am able to communicate extremely well both orally and in writing. Specialized experience must include all or most of the following duties: 1.) Reviewing and approving on a daily basis; Information Technology Service Requests (ITSRs), Information Technology Purchase Requests (ITPRs), and financial Purchase Requests (PRs) to assure that the three systems are aligned and accurately reflect daily business transactions; 2.) Providing guidance to the Command on developing Contract Acquisition Strategies that are within scope, schedule, budget, and risk in meeting requirements; 3.) Demonstrating an expert understanding of Government contracting, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) and NAVSUP Contracting Policies and Procedures; 4.) Ensuring contract technical support is available to answer customer questions or concerns.
