Duties
Serves within the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Information Operations (J6), Program Executive Office (J62), Enterprise Service Area Portfolio Management.
Provides Computer Security and Customer Support to government and contractor personnel needing access to a variety of Automated Information Systems (AIS).
Serves as the point of contact for users of DoD/DLA systems, other programs world-wide, and as the point of contact for users of AIS from other DLA centers and military services.
Reviews various automated systems (i.e. Standard Automated Information Systems and Unique Standard Automated Information Systems) documentation and operating instructions to identify security measures provided.
Performs user account administration based upon the knowledge of data owner policies, application requirements, and DLA Security Regulations.
Provides Access Control to SAP based applications utilizing tools such as SAP Central User Administration and SAP native transactions.
Researches security issues within the SAP environment and provides detailed analysis, proposed courses of action and then implements the approved course of action.
Performs detailed analysis of Role Based Access control rules and matrices to support enterprise separation of duties.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (INFOSEC) your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including minimum qualifications and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Provides information about access requests necessary to accomplish gaining entry to multiple IT systems.
Receives requests for items such as password resets, unlocking and locking accounts, and provides correction and instruction as required to allow users to be successful for the program in question.
Develops local plans, policies, and practices necessary to provide guidance and assistance in all aspects of account management.
Performs detailed analysis of complex Information System access control and security related issues.
Access Control experience in SAP desirable.
B. Education: Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience.
