You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist in one of the Regional Suoort Teams (RST), Operations/Intelligence Directorate, Marine Corps Information Operations Center. This position is located at HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will provide intelligence support by identifying cultural, social, economic, and political environments of the area of responsibility and interest.
You will develop information environment focused analyses, suitable to be included in Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB) products.
You will identify key aspects including communications infrastructure, key influencer’s, civic leaders, and other local-tactical level factors that may impact U.S. military exercises or operations.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.

- All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

- This position may requires a 2-Year DCIPS trial period requirement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Perform intelligence analysis by developing intelligence products including estimates, reports and country or regional assessments and provide support to influence operations planning and execution;
Provide intelligence support to Operations Security (OPSEC) by identifying capabilities and intentions of foreign intelligence services to include objectives and the means, methods, and facilities used by the threat to collect, process and analyze information;
Develop analytic products to answer requests for information (RFI) as assigned and develop intelligence briefings and presentations as assigned by the Supervisory Intelligence Specialist.
