Duties
Serves as a Systems IT Specialist on assigned projects and is responsible for directing implementation of a specific project segment of the assigned project(s).

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Project Manager (PLCYPLN), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Manages large scale information systems within component organization.
Makes decisions or recommendations significantly changing, interpreting, or developing important policies and projects.
Performs IT concepts, principles, and practices to plan, direct, and evaluate projects for Automated Information Systems.
Provides recommendations on improvement of the overall systems lifecycle management and testing process, and ultimately, the effective and efficient interface among systems and integration of subsystems into overall functional business information technology systems.
Applies analytical theories, principles, concepts, methods, and techniques related to mathematical and statistical analysis to formulate and conduct studies and analysis.
Tests and evaluates techniques, large-scale software deployments, and system development life cycles.
