About the Position: This position is located at USAJFK Special Warfare Center & School, 1ST SPECIAL WARFARE TRAINING GROUP (ABN) 5th BATTALION, at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Manage all aspects education and training processes within the assigned organization or program areas for the Command.
Plan and conduct studies to evaluate the overall effectiveness and efficiency of training programs.
Develop innovative and effective methods for training program improvements.
Requirements
- Pre-employment Drug Screen required.
- May be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must possess a current and valid state driver's license.
- May be required to work overtime.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Top-Secret security clearance is required.
- Business travel is 10%.
- May be required to participate in Battalion training.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes Experience in planning, developing, and evaluating the curriculum for the psychological operations qualification training program. Experience in Developing resident training for active duty and reserve officers to qualify them for assignment to psychological operations career fields. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
