You will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Product Support Management and Integration Department of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Duties
You will be involved in the execution of Independent Logistics Assessments and Operational Capability Supportability Reviews to develop the strategic direction for measuring readiness and sustainment performance across the weapon system life cycle.
You will develop and implement the Sustainment Program Baseline (SPB) including metrics dashboard development and configuration management of the SPB Playbook.
You will develop assessment dashboards which provide a value-added approach to organize and report acquisition and sustainment status in monitoring current and future fielded systems.
You will implement and execute the Naval Sustainment Baseline (NSB) that instills discipline and accountability for the acquisition of maintenance capability for Naval Aviation.
You will collaborate with personnel both interior and exterior to the agency, along with DASN (Sustainment) Action Officers and Directors.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: (1) Demonstrating knowledge of the policies and procedures of integrated logistics support (ILS) concepts and disciplines applied throughout the design and development of acquisition and life-cycle support of Naval aviation weapon systems and equipment; (2) Adhering to engineering principles, reliability, maintainability, configuration management, and maintenance planning and management policies; (3) Becoming familiar with multiple characteristics of NAVAIR systems and equipment and attendant logistics requirements; and (4) Maintaining familiarity with the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting System (PPBS) along with Department of Defense program management and organizational management policies, principles, requirements, and procedures.
