You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst within the Industrial and Directorate Support Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS

Duties

You will apply analytical ability, knowledge of business processes of NAVSUP WSS, knowledge of applicable business improvement techniques, and knowledge of a range of IT skills to support Navy logistics systems. You will be responsible for higher level communications within and across NAVSUP WSS. You will analyze, extract, summarize, and identify business trends and issues. You will research, evaluate, and provide support/analysis to correct problems and analyze patterns in customer support requirements. You will provide customer training in principles, capabilities, navigation, and performing business transactions in Navy Supply systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Applying knowledge of supply chain management, supply business requirements, and business process analysis methodologies, concepts, and principles in order to fully analyze and develop recommendations for improvement of supply program operations and objectives. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Providing Information Technology (IT), data mining, and business analysis support in a functional team setting to issue resolutions, create risk mitigation strategies, and monitor automated systems; 2) Analyzing system requirements in response to business requirements, risks, and costs; 3) Applying fact-finding, analytical, and problem solving methods and techniques to resolve Navy supply related problems; and 4) Utilizing working knowledge of inventory, logistics, and supply chain management to provide customer and functional team support.
