Duties
You will serve as the Directorate's Physical and Automatic Data Processing Security Specialist and responsible for performing all responsibilities related to Personnel, Physical, Information, Industrial, and ADP Security.
You will coordinate physical/ADP security procedures with NRSCMD organizational entities and pay particular attention to any special requirements needed.
You will participate in the implementation, development, coordination and management of security regulations, procedures, software and controls of computer systems, and Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WANs).
You will analyze systems and implement changes to work processes, design and programming techniques to preclude or resolve security problems.
You will develop processes to improve ADP security and maintain a high level of personnel security awareness.
You will perform monthly alarms checks to ensure the system is functionally properly.
You will be responsible for updating, interpreting and implementing various policies and instructions; these policies/instructions cover all aspects of Personnel Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Industrial Security, and ADP Security
You'll provide detailed instructions on many aspects of security procedures (visitor access, new employees, clearances, outgoing mail, destruction of classified information, opening and closing procedures proper markings for classified information).
You will assist in preparing, processing and reviewing Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) System Authorization Access Request (SAAR) applications.
You will be responsible for physical/ADP security training in-briefing of all new employees, de-briefing of outgoing employees, Data Transfer training and Restricted Data training of employees and Security Refresher training for Code N94.
You will be appointed as NAVSUP WSS Contracting Officer Security Representative for all N94 DD-254 forms (Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification).
You will be responsible for the control of all keys, card access devices and locking devices that relate to the internal and external security of Code N94.
You will perform Administration Inspections and Physical Security Surveys to reveal problem areas or noncompliance with procedures, regulations, instructions and policy.
You will be authorized to determine that a document or material is unclassified or classified as restricted data based on classification guidance.
You will serve as a member of NAVSUP WSS Contingency Planning Team, created for the development of emergency, recovery and back-up plans.
You will serve as the Directorates senior fire warden.

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You may be required to lift and carry objects that weigh up to 40lbs.
- You may be required to climb ladders and maneuver on rooftops.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing Physical Security Specialist duties related to the handling, storage and safeguarding of classified information. I am able to communicate well both orally and in writing. Specialized experience must include most or all of the following: 1) Monitoring and reporting all security violations such as: physical safeguards such as safes, inoperative entrance/exit doors and/or card readers; 2) Utilizing alarm systems and access control systems, to include the use of various types of sensors and emergency response procedures in order to identify any suspicious activity; 3) Conducting inspections and surveys of Department procedures for handling of classified data and video conferencing; 4) Applying a knowledge of local DOD organizations and an understanding of their particular problems as they relate to physical security and the Antiterrorism/Force Protection programs; and 5) Assisting with expedited completion of clearances.
