You will serve as a Supervisory Security Specialist of NSA MECH SECURITY DETACHMENT.
Duties
You will conduct oversight reviews of Physical Security systems and practices to recommend actions to correct deficiencies.
You will analyze and interpret security regulations, processes, and procedures for the protection of the activity's information, assets, and personnel.
You will assign work to employees based on skill level and evaluated work performance.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing project management and advice on matters of physical security, force protection and anti-terrorism programs; 2) Managing, implementing, and/or directing security programs and policy for an activity to forecast and meet mission requirements; 3) Safeguarding information, personnel, property, assets, or material to prevent, deter, and minimize theft, loss, misuse, fraud, disclosure, espionage, or sabotage; 4) Conducting protective and physical security surveys to identify and defend against vulnerabilities.
