You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SWESD FINANCIAL SUPPORT SECTION 1 (10F11), GLOBAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT SECTION 2 (10F22), or SPECTRUM FINANCIAL SUPPORT SECTION 1 (10F31) of the BUSINESS & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION in the CORPORATE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
Duties
You will be the section manager, responsible for financial planning and execution for multiple divisions of NSWC Crane.
You will serve as the financial authority on all funding and workload tasking sent to the Financial Section for their respective customers.
You will develop and monitor processes, and oversee execution of the work and employees within the Section.
You will determine most effective, efficient means of accomplishing the work, responding to customers, sponsors and employees on priorities.
You will make decisions or recommendations on the interpretation and content of agency policies and regulations concerning financial management.
You will make sound business decisions and evaluations concerning funding and workload issues, contracts and priorities.

- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating financial execution planning processes or procedures to improve the effectiveness or efficiency of financial management operations for programs, projects, or initiatives.
