You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL BUSINESS & INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST of SUPSHIP GULF COAST.
Duties
You will plan, organize, and direct the efforts of a team of Earned Value analysts to determine effectiveness of contractor's cost/production management and control procedures for shipbuilding contracts.
You will provide guidance and assistance to subordinates in determining areas of investigation, to include the review and evaluation of cost/production/schedule, manpower allocation, work flow control systems, and schedule formulation and adherence.
You will direct the efforts of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Division concerning the surveillance and evaluation of the contractor's management control systems, procedures and operations.
You will prepare and present oral presentations relative to EVM efforts for SUPSHIP, NAVSEA, and other government management personnel.
You will perform supervisory duties to include planning and scheduling work to be accomplished; providing guidance on work/administrative matters; setting performance standards and evaluating performance of employees; and determining training needs.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector "Leading surveillance or evaluation reviews of contractor's management control systems, procedures or operations for shipbuilding program."
