The candidate should be a dynamic, data savvy expert, who thrives in a data-driven environment and applies analytic rigor and quality control to each project. Accordingly, on a day-to-day basis, duties of this position include a combination of demographics data analysis, responding to oversight reporting requirements, data modeling, conveyance of analytic judgement, and developing clear visualizations to effectively execute the mission. This also includes performing a wide variety of analysis, research, and consultative services including designing, conducting and reporting the results of complex data analysis projects. The candidate will conduct analysis on current and historical data to determine demographic compositions and trends of the workforce. The candidate will conduct the technical aspects of data analysis and research efforts in order to recommend and successfully apply a variety of quantitative and qualitative approaches to identify and resolve workplace issues. The candidate interacts regularly with personnel at all levels. Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Online resumes must demonstrate qualification by providing specific examples and associated results, in response to the announcement's mandatory criteria specified in this vacancy announcement: 1. Demonstrated experience in preparing statistical reports and/or visualization, to include graphics or other visual representations of information to convey analysis, trends and relationships.2. Demonstrated experience in creating interactive solutions of aggregated data with a wide variety of tools and scripts.3. Demonstrated expertise to conduct data analytics and algorithm development supporting the integration of data into analytic products and/or self-service data views.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Human Resources Management, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and trends, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work. As a rule, every 30 semester (45 quarter) hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates should show their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in analyzing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data and trends, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Demonstrated ability to conduct quality reviews on data-rich analytic products and reports.2. Ability to multitask and collaborate with peers, customers and management to accomplish a variety of incongruent tasks and excel in a constantly changing environment.3. Experience in interpreting data and developing clear, concise analytic reports to convey insight effectively.
