Duties

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS OFFICER (FORCE READINESS) in FORCE READINESS DIRECTORATE, COMNAVSURFLANT, NAVAL BASE, NORFOLK, VIRGINIA. You will report to and provides support to the Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff (DACOS) for the Manpower and Personnel Directorate (N1A). You will provide representation and requirements input for CNSL and interfaces with Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP) and U.S. Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) counterparts as required. You will develop Force guidance and identifies/prepare unfunded manpower issues for budget and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) submissions. You will plan, direct, coordinate, monitor, budget, and execute the Manpower and Personnel Program and CNSL N10 Department administrative functions.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience on active/reserve military Manning, Manpower and Personnel matters for planning, coordination, assessment, supervision, administration, management and accomplishment of actions concerning military/civilian manpower management for the Command. Experience applying, a broad range of qualitative and quantitative methods and techniques for assessing short and long range military manning, manpower and personnel management and budget requirements. Experience performing assessment and improvement of related program effectiveness and/or the improvement of complex management processes and systems, in the areas of manpower, military personnel management and force management, force structure, manpower staffing, and the distribution and documentation of manpower resources. Experience in planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring, budgeting, and executing the Manpower and Personnel Program necessary to accomplish N1 support to CNSL ship readiness processes, the CNSL staff, the Surface Warfare Enterprise (SWE), and Surface Force ship deployment.
