This position functions as a Program Specialist (Webmaster) at the Rocky Mountain Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (RM MIRECC) for Suicide Prevention, which is physically located at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (RMR VAMC) in Aurora, CO.
Duties

NOTE: This is a TERM appointment (not-to-exceed 4 years). Term appointments are non-status, nonpermanent appointments of limited duration (more than 1 year but not more than 4). Term employees are eligible to earn leave and generally have the same benefits as permanent employees including health and life insurance, with-in-grade increases and Federal Employees Retirement System and Thrift Savings Plan coverage. Term appointments may be extended without further competition (up to the 4-year maximum). The appointment to a Term position does not confer eligibility for promotion or reassignment to other positions or the ability to be noncompetitively converted to permanent employment.
The position's major responsibilities are to provide administrative, analytical, and evaluative support to the Rocky Mountain MIRECC, and to oversee the management of the service's internal and external website communications.
Reviews and interprets website/social media metrics
Uses data to improve information to enhance user experience
Establishes and maintains project workflows and performance measures.
Collects data on website usage, assists with administrative components including circulating marketing
Provides education and support in web development and design.
Coordinates with IT staff and network engineers to integrate new technology applications
Proficient with editing source HTML code, ASP scripting, JavaScript, XML, and cascading style sheets
Reviews, tests, and implements new web pages on the organization's Internet and Intranet sites
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Possess one full year of experience that equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position that is in or related to the position. Specialized experience is experience working in a research setting: Routinely testing new pages to ensure correct formatting and optimum display of graphics, video, other multimedia formats; Creates Intranet/Internet applications that enhance user-developed content and meet business and technical requirements; Implements new web pages on the organization's Internet and Intranet sites by editing HTML source code and placing new pages in the appropriate location on the web site; Reviews and interprets website/social media metrics and uses the data to improve information to enhance user experience; Establishes and maintains project workflows and performance measures.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree, or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M if related to the position (e.g. psychology, social science, or health field), which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position. This education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent one (1) year of full-time study. If that number cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours will be considered an academic year of graduate study. Part-time graduate education is creditable in accordance with its relationship to a year of full-time study at the school attended. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED)

Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. There is periodic walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as files, instructional material books and manuals. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. The work is usually performed in a well-ventilated, climate-controlled office environment, meeting rooms, or similar settings. Travel between campuses may be required.
