Duties
You will provide recommendations to uniformed leadership on matters pertaining to executing, improving, and expanding Commander Task Group 101 (CTG-101) operations
You will oversee watch team manning, training, and rotations.
You will conduct routine operations studies to evolve CTG 101 to meet future program requirements.
You will prepare manning and budget requests, complete with budget justification and execution plans.
You will serve as subject matter expert on all associated IC policies and precedents related to CTG 101 operations.
You will negotiate new policies that will affect future CTG 101 operations.
You will provide SME training to new Officers assigned to CTG 101 and during preparations for Fleet-level and international military exercises.
Requirements

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- You will be required to perform occasional sea duty.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Planning and organizing daily operations across multiple departments of an organization
Coordinating operational efforts across numerous Intelligence agencies, military branches, and foreign partner militaries
Providing expert projection, assumptions, or deriving analyses from limited or variable data, while resolving competing priorities among information resources and operational requirements
Managing acquisitions and delivery of equipment
Conducting management analyses to ensure the placement of personnel, execution of training, and assignment of rotations to meet program requirements
Preparing personnel and budget requirements with justification and execution plans
Conducting operational and strategic planning with military, civilian and foreign military partners
Cultivating a strong positive culture while leading and mentoring junior Officers and Senior Enlisted personnel
Managing and executing training qualification programs with the ability to synchronize efforts among remote operational sites
