About the Position: This position serves the Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG). They provide comprehensive contracting, business advisory support and sustained expertise to a diverse customer base in support of the Joint Warfighter.

Duties

Serve as Budget Analyst for the Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG). Perform various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects. Provide local budget policy and procedures to serviced organizations for budget submissions. Conduct studies, analyze data, develop alternatives, and make recommendations to resolve budget problems. Utilize an automated budget/financial system or software to develop monthly/ongoing financial reports.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. If the security clearance is denied or revoked, the individual may be denied or removed from the position, accordingly.
  • This position is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. This position requires for you to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.

For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education can NOT be substituted for experience.
