Duties

Schedule and manage classes for organization in programs such as ROTC. Monitor Class levels and number of classes to meet organizational training requirements. Act as point of contact for the organization for course changes/adjustments in the training program. Coordinate/ensure assigned schools comply with regulations, policies, and procedures required by the government for programs such as ROTC.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a Secret background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY), may be required up to 5% of the time.
  • 1 year Term trial period may be required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Must be able to type 40 words per minute
  • Employee is required to attend the Acculturation C3PO third week from Entrance on Duty at Fort Knox.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work of this job. Specialized experience is defined as: work that involves administering a training program, processing training requests, distributing training allocations, scheduling classes, assisting students, and preparing written correspondence. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Database AdministrationManages and Organizes InformationOrganizational AwarenessTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).

1 full year of graduate level education or superior academic achievement
