Duties
Provides Tier 3 DLA Enterprise level support for on-premises and Cloud virtualization architectures by providing technical guidance, analysis, advice, and troubleshooting/problem resolution on...
(cont.) a wide range of operational problems involving enterprise IT services that impact DLA enterprise operations.
Participates in the planning, scheduling and installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and application software as it is related to virtualization architectures.
Participates in planning, designing, and evaluating the results of hardware/software performance studies and environmental tests of next generation of assigned products for enterprise implementation.
Contributes to whitepapers, technical reports, technical evaluations, and summary reports of findings as appropriate and presents technical briefings as required.
Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines/time frames for completion.
Identifies, distributes, and balances workload/tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Lead IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Isolates, identifies, analyzes, evaluates, and resolves hardware, software and/or communications problems as they relate to virtualization architectures.
Manages accounts, network rights, and accesses to systems and applications used for the virtualization architectures.
Develops, plans and schedules the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems and applications software into the existing architecture.
