About the Position: Serves as Program Analyst performing budget execution for the organization. Reviews and evaluates budgets utilizing resource allocations, obligation plans, guidelines, directives, principles and practices. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED WITH US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMAND.

Duties

Reviews and analyzes budget obligation plan schedules to determine AMCOM resource requirements. Prepares, coordinates, or provides input to special and recurring reports covering all aspects of the AMCOM financial review and analysis program, as required, by project management and higher echelons. Review and integrate requirements and budgets by identifying apparent conflicts, overlap of functions, analyzing problem areas, and making recommendations for revisions to plans, and budgets. Review and analyze budget obligation plan schedules to determine AMCOM resource requirements.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
  • This position has an Occasional Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement.
  • This position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements.
  • THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012.
