The incumbent serves as Director, OASR, and as Chief Administrative Officer for the OD, and reports to the Deputy Executive Officer on such matters as the development and formulation of new programs and the evaluation of existing programs.
Duties
Participates with the Executive Officer, Deputy and Associate Directors, Director, and Program Office Chiefs in the development and implementation of new programs and the evaluation of existing programs.
Coordinates the policies of the OD NIH Office of Human Resources with OD administrative policy.
Represents the Executive Officer in relationships within the DHHS, interpreting policies, and solving problems that may hamper operations.
Serves as the OD administrative coordinator in dealing with the Deputy and Associate Directors, Program Office Chiefs, and with other segments of the NIH to achieve effective cooperation between the interrelated programs of the OD.
Exercises supervisory and managerial leadership and direction to the subordinate staff of the OASR.
Establishes the Office's immediate and long-range goals, priorities, and plans, and recommends an organizational structure that is efficient in the use of resources and effective in providing information services.
Requirements

Qualifications
You qualify at the GS-15 level, if you meet the following qualification requirement:
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: managing organizational resources, including human resources, staffing allocations, budgets, and acquisitions; developing and advising on policies and procedures for administrative services and resources; coordinating administrative services and resources programs with management officials and other organizations; and providing supervision and direction to staff.
