You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition (I&A) office of Team Submarine of AUKUS INTEGRATION AND ACQUISITION.
Duties
You will serve as the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition program's expert for financial management rules and regulations, appropriation laws, budget formulation and execution for multiple appropriations.
You will coordinates with other Directors within the program to manage all aspects including programmatic, technical, and financial.
You will develop and execute various phases of the program by conducting surveys, on-site investigations, and discussions with operating officials; studying and analyzing program policies, directives, mission plans, and other similar material.
You will initiate contract actions, reconcile aged transactions and accounts, report on the overall status of assigned hull funding and phasing, and maintain a thorough requirement picture across all major categories.
You will perform analysis and reporting, official correspondence, and act as the Program Manager's representative for program financial management.
You will advise the Program Manager on the best course of action to meet goals in accordance with prescribed priorities, time limitations, funding and other resource limitations, and logistics during each phase of the life cycle of the program.
You will establish work assignments to be accomplished by the employees in the program, setting priorities, preparing schedules for work completion, and ensuring the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts.
You will ensure the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy, and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector coordinating financial management analysis to manage the planning and execution of financial resources for compliance of financial regulations, principles, policies or procedures.
