Duties

You will establish maintenance planning strategies and methodology across multiple product lines within the Advanced Development Team (ADT) portfolio that support establishment of effective maintenance capability. You will apply continuous improvement methods to identify opportunities for improved affordability, life cycle cost reductions and improvement of aircraft and subsystems availability. You will review program technical and mission documentation to ensure logistics requirements are identified and integrated with design and operational requirements as well as optimized within acceptable levels of risk. You will develop and deliver logistics presentations to internal and external contacts in support of assigned program/project.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following. Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Developing and executing maintenance planning requirements to conduct analyses, develop and evaluate alternatives, and provide recommendations to internal and external contacts; 2) Providing logistics expertise and guidance to employees, management and other program stakeholders to ensure that designed logistics support systems meet established supportability requirements and performance parameters; and 3) Developing and implementing maintenance capability establishment to support maintenance concepts and requirements to achieve aviation program goals and objectives within budget and life cycle cost.
