About the Position: This position is under the US Army Aviation and Missile Command.
Duties
Serves as Electronic Publications Specialist working in concert with other technical personnel, specialists.
Responsible for developing and ensuring the objectives of the Program and Project Office electronic equipment publications programs are met using in-depth knowledge of logistics.
Works with senior logisticians in directing, developing, and/or implementing logistics policies, processes, initiatives and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon systems acquisition in the areas of Logistics Support.
Assigned systems are characterized by new and emerging technologies; high monetary value; used within a context of new or innovative military strategies.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: GS-11One year of specialized experience which includes (1) coordinating actions regarding calibration publications, (2) providing reports on calibration procedure implementation and correction, (3) formulating, interpreting, and articulating Army policy and directives. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-9).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, in any field of study.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent. Specifically, to qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the (GS-09).
