Duties
Serve as a Supply Management Specialist for the Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment Central Management Office (OCIE CMO), US
Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM).
Ensure that assets excess to the overall program or obsolete are reutilized to the extent possible through sales to other services, DLA, and
foreign military sales, before it is disposed of.
Monitor inventory levels throughout the supply chain and eliminate excess.
Coordinate with the Materiel Developer in determining requirements for new OCIE and assist in the fielding process as required.
Analyze supply process metrics and resolve supply process issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Report on inventory levels and shortages of critical items throughout the supply chain, including DLA and Program Executive Office (PEO)
Soldier
Work with logistics specialists and unit/installation personnel to manage menus of OCIE in property accounting systems.
Analyze data to evaluate supply system performance and to resolve supply issues.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A trial or probationary period may be required in accordance with agency policy.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required

After Program completion, Department of the Army Recent Graduates MAY be converted to a permanent position or to a term position (a project-based term of employment lasting between one and four years).

Recent graduates who have completed, within the previous two years, a qualifying associates, bachelors, masters, professional, doctorate, vocational or technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution. Short-term training programs (e.g. several two-week programs completed) are not considered an academic course of study.
Current students who will graduate no later than 3 months after 12/15/2023
Preference eligible veterans who were precluded from applying due to their military service obligation begin their two-year eligibility period upon release or discharge from active duty. Eligibility for these veterans cannot exceed six years after degree or certificate completion
Applicants can be selected at GS-07 level only . The target grade of this position is GS-11.
After Program completion, Department of the Army Recent Graduates MAY be converted to a permanent position or to a term position (a project-based term of employment lasting between one and four years).
To be eligible for conversion to a permanent or term position, Recent Graduates must:
Be a U.S. Citizen
Successfully complete all the requirements of the Recent Graduate Program as defined in the Agency Participant Agreement.
Demonstrate successful job performance.
Meet the Office of Personnel Management qualification standard including any applicable positive education requirements and/or selection placement factors and any other designated special qualifications requirements and conditions of employment (e.g. medical standards) appropriate for the position to which being converted.
