Duties

Conducts functional systems analysis, develops documents, and evaluates complex functional system requirements for the Order Fulfillment functional area. Provides testing support for system changes. Develops Order Fulfillment functional requirements in conjunction with appropriate process areas. Identifies areas for IT Modernization/system or process improvements in supporting EBS end users. Provides testing support for process improvements. Identifies and develops Order Fulfillment process-specific Key Performance Indicators and metrics. Serves as expert analyst on IT Modernization or Tailored Vendor Relationships. Serves as an expert analyst and advisor to the Process Owner and other senior agency management on Order Fulfillment functional program and processes. Researches and develops innovative approaches and evaluation techniques to review Order Fulfillment process effectiveness and explores logistics solutions for customers and suppliers. Manages Tailor Vendor Relationships through vendor transaction receipts within system interfaces, from creation of the Sales Order to creation of Purchase Order (PO) and customer billing/vendor payment. Conducts interface testing with an understanding of MILS Transactions and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transactions to include how they are mapped/interfaced with processes in EBS. Aligns with IT Modernization efforts when developing new or innovative approaches to evaluate the process and explore logistics and system solutions. Provides testing support for new applications and design changes.

Qualifications

To qualify for a Supply Systems Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes: Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates enterprise-wide implementation of proposals to improve KPIs, metrics, and performance critical data, Performs a variety of analytical duties that involve monitories and reviewing Order Fulfillment process, and Ability to establish and foster effective relationships with all levels of personnel and maintain open lines of communication with counterparts. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
