You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Submarines & Maritime Industrial Operations Department, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will provide direct support by collecting, organizing, analyzing and presenting information relative to the mission of NAVSUP WSS.
You will analyze problems and recommend solutions.
You will advise staff on the status of programs and furnishes information as required; briefs and tracks required actions.
You will provide support to projects/programs that are varied and complex, reducing the requirement for contact with the other staff on policy matters.
Requirements

Qualifications
I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing management studies, reports, surveys, and administrative analysis in the areas of civilian personnel. Examples of specialized experience must include: 1) Researching, developing, and preparing documents, position papers, and projects and briefings for leadership, often supporting basic business and flag-level external engagements; 2) Reviews incoming and outgoing correspondence and providing applicable executive summaries, interpretation of policy implications, or cogent recommendations pertaining to content at the discretion of leadership; 3) Managing document control, and civilian awards; scheduling pre-briefs, representing the department as the Continuity of Operations (COOP) liaison, and answers questions pertaining to events and activities involving the Department; 4) Studying department programs, regulations, policies, and goals to develop and improve management controls; enhancing administrative services and procedures; and conduct short and long range planning.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree related to the position being filled.
OR
I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree related to the position being filled.
OR
I have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.
