About the Position: This position is located at Fort Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Serves as a Program Analyst for the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE) G1 which includes Fort Novosel, AL, Fort Eustis, VA and Fort Huachuca, AZ. Primary emphasis is with the effectiveness and efficiency of civilian programs and operations.

Duties

Serve as Program Analyst for the US Army Aviation of Excellence (USAACE) which includes Fort Novosel, Al, Fort Eustis, VA and Fort Huachuca, AZ. Provide management support services in the areas of program cost analysis, fiscal planning, and development of annual work-plans for organizations whose operations are interrelated and unpredictable. Plan, conduct and implement/participate in complicated analytical studies of structures, proposed reorganizations and/or realignment of USAACE functions. Research, analyze, develop, write and coordinate Command policy dealing with organizational resource functions such as Standing Operating Procedures (SOPs). Conduct program evaluation, analysis, design and implementation of Command-wide personnel programs and guidance. Assist G-8 in the analysis, development, monitoring and execution of the Command’s civilian personnel budget and the forecasting of funding requirements.

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
