About the Position: Work under the general supervision of the Chief of Staff, Chief of the Synchronization and Initiatives Group in the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), in coordination with the Commanding General and senior leaders. Provide programmatic knowledge management and quality management support across all functional areas. This position is located at U. S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (DOTD), Fort Novosel, Alabama.

Duties

Develop and update USAACE’s Knowledge Management Plan. Perform as action officer for the center’s knowledge management plan with the purpose of capturing, transferring and archiving tacit and explicit knowledge and address the components. Conduct research and seeks input from experts. Operationalize USAACE’s Knowledge Management Plan. Formulate and execute actions to implement the plan including but not limited to developing policies, controls and guidance, establishing programs, and establishing standard operating procedures. Acquire necessary services, equipment, and supplies. Lead and coordinate functional area Knowledge Manager POCs, including regular meetings, to effect implementation, resolve issues, and evaluate efficacy.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• This position requires that the employee occasionally travel away from the normal duty station up to 25% of the time.
• This is a Term NTE 3 years position.
