You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (BRANCH MANAGER) for the EXPEDITIONARY MULTI-FUNCTION ELECTRONIC WARFARE BRANCH of the EXPEDITIONARY ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS DIVISION in the SPECTRUM WARFARE DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
Duties
You will be responsible for the development of the workforce, effective execution of workload consistent with organizational initiatives and objectives, and for providing outstanding support and service to assigned customers.
You will plan, distribute, coordinate, and monitor work assignments of subordinates
You will identify solutions and provide guidance and advice to subordinates and to other supervisors and managers.
You will formulate objectives and priorities and implement plans consistent with long-term interests of the organization in a global environment.
You will capitalize on opportunities and manage risks and contingencies, recognizing the implications for the organization and stakeholders.
You will develop and implement long and short term plans for required funding, human resources, facilities and equipment.
You will develop and implement the organization's project and programmatic policies and procedures, and determines criteria for assessing effectiveness.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing oversight and direction on the development, testing, or evaluation of technical projects, programs, or initiatives.
