About the Position: Serve as a Program Support Specialist responsible for planning, programming, facilitating, coordinating, negotiating, and conducting a variety of activities located with U.S, Army Aviation and Missile Command Deputy COS, G-4 (Command INT Logistics) Office of the Director Redstone at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Duties
Advise management of the impact of new or revised policies, procedures when coordination and scheduling resources for operations.
Participate in staff and/or division level meetings to discuss planning and validation of resources, administrative and management functions of the division.
Serves as Primary Hand Receipt Holder for the G-4 ensuring all Information Technology (IT) equipment is accounted for.
Conducts or participates in studies on matters such as internal property accountability or establishment of a centralized supply program.
Explains related technical considerations to affected team leaders and employees.
Serves as the primary hand receipt holder and manages property accountability for the G-4.
Requirements
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time. Are you willing and able to travel away from your permanent duty station up to 10% of the time?
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing, planning, analyzing, negotiating, collaborating and staffing support agreements; review directives, best practices, and/or data to evaluate organizational programs; communicates orally and in writing to participate in negotiations, resolve problems, recommend solutions or budgetary adjustments; planning, estimating costs, and coordinating with staff and line management personnel to complete work assignments; identifying problems and devising solutions for procedural and substantive operational issues. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
