About the Position:
This position is located in Alexandria, VA in the Labor Management and Employee Relations Division.
This position is not covered by a bargaining unit.
Duties
Prepares a comprehensive investigation report which summarizes the investigative activities, itemizes undisputed facts, and/or states facts pertinent to the complainant’s allegations.
Create, and maintains a well-trained collateral duty team of anti-harassment points-of-contact throughout the major organization component areas, such as regional and district offices.
Following inquiries, examines the case file for sufficiency determinations, which require extensive interpretation of the law, executive orders, federal regulations, and evidence collected during the inquiry
Provides both case-specific and standard-operating-procedure guidance.
Applies EEO concepts, principles, Federal regulations and other federal employment related anti-discrimination regulations and statutes, and labor- employee relations to develop agency administrative Instructions.
Requirements
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Requirement.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Direct deposit of pay is required.
- One year trial or probationary period may be required.
- Appointment subject to a suitability/fitness determination, as determined by a background investigation.

Specialized Experience GS-13: One year of specialized experience which includes: Assisting in reviewing and analyzing allegations of harassment, including conducting intakes, processing harassment cases, and conducting inquiries. Assist with training to the workforce, including managers, supervisors, and other officials regarding preventing and addressing harassment. Provides input/assist with policies and making recommendations for changes in policies or practices to eliminate harassment and promote a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment, providing advice and guidance to the workforce on anti-harassment policies, laws, and regulations. Experience in tracking cases and developing and preparing reports to statistical data on harassment cases.

GS13 Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
GS14 Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
