About the Position: This is a permanent position with US Army, Humphreys Engineer Center Support Activity (HECSA), Equal Employment Opportunity Office located at Alexandria, VA.
Duties
Direct and manage the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program.
Prepare or provide input to detailed short and long-term Command action plans.
Monitor implementation of the remedy and reports actions taken and assures results are in compliance with guidelines, regulations, or statutes.
Manage total processing and disposition of all individual and class EEO complaints.
Advise Commanders and senior leaders on all issues affecting workforce, effectiveness of EEO programs, efficiency, and legal compliance of EEO Program.
Provide technical and administrative supervision to subordinate employees.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires up to 25% TDY.
- This position may require one year Supervisory Probation period.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Conducting organizational analysis to identify systemic barriers to EEO; 2) Developing EEO Program evaluation criteria to assess the effectiveness of the program; 3) Providing advice and guidance to subordinate offices regarding EEO Programs; AND 4) Recommending solutions to systemic problems to an organization's EEO Program.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
