About the Position: The Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command (AMC), focuses on enabling strategic power projection readiness, total force materiel, and supply chain optimization in support of multi-domain operations.

Duties

Serve as a supply systems analyst, working independently or as a team member, in the Business Operations Directorate (BOD) Business Support Office (BSO). Analyze supply and logistics policies, procedures, and practices to determine their impact on Army medical logistics programs. Research and study private industry as well as Department of Defense (DoD) best business practices to develop and apply concepts that best fit and support Army medical logistics requirements. Receive problem reports from users of the Enterprise Resource Planning system when problems are too complex for resolution by the Help Desk.

  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Business travel up to 5%.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service which includes: 1) Helping to resolve problems escalated from a Help Desk function; 2) Conducting research and studies to develop a plan of action to support medical logistics requirements; 3) Participating in protocol testing for information systems that integrate and standardize business processes; AND 4) Utilizing automated systems such as Enterprise Solution (DML-ES) Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) that impact medical logistics. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Attention to DetailTechnical CompetenceTechnology Application Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
