You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Logistics Support Division (LSD), G-4 of MARINE CORPS BASE.

Duties

You will assist with information management studies and make recommendations. You will develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation and program administration. You will serve as the primary review for all procurement/acquisition requests for the departments Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) system. You will provide support services in the areas of personnel cost analysis and annual multi-year fiscal planning. You will serve as a lead analyst up to five months a year in performing a variety of budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budgets. You will assist with the program and processes in the management of the department’s assigned civilian workforce.

  • You will be required to currently possess a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications

GS-09 I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing administrative support and recommendations to managers and supervisors on a wide variety of human resources matters, processes and procedures such as recruitments, appointments, reassignments, position description changes/establishments, personal/service awards, performance awards, budgeting and interpreting laws/regulations. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Conducting special projects, and providing analytical support and assistance to upper management; AND developing, evaluating, advising, and improving the effectiveness of the operational functions for the command. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

OR

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

OR

LL.M., if related
