About the Position: This position is located at the Navel Medical Center, Camp Lejeune, DIR of Resource Management, Performance Analysis and Evaluation.
Telework - May be authorized for situational purposes.
Duties
Serves as the Program Manager for the Command's Data Quality Management Control Program (DQMCP).
Facilitates the completion of the monthly Commander’s Data Quality Statement and Review List, develops/establishes local policy to meet the Data Quality (DQ) metric goals outlined in DODI 6040.40.
Develops, plans, conducts studies and makes recommendations
Coordinates with operating officials and department heads in arriving at appropriate recommendations.
Chairman of Data Quality Assurance Team (DQAT); meets monthly, determines agenda, prepares Board of Director's briefing on program status.
Facilitates development of plans, actions, and milestones (POAM) using Lean Six Sigma tools.
Develops and implements solutions and works with appropriate personnel to correct any noted deficiencies.
Recommends new or modified work methods, organizational structures, management processes, staffing patterns, changes in program services, automation of work processes, etc.
Develops new reports and communications to ensure data quality goals are met.
Determines root cause for metric and/or system failures, ensures all aspects of the data input, output and transmission are considered. Recommends corrective actions to avoid negative trends
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.
