About the Position: The position serves as the Department Head for the Program Analysis and Evaluation (PA&E) over the Medical Expense and Reporting System (MEPRS) and Data Quality (DQ) monthly reporting for Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. Work involves analyzing financial data to produce cost analysis for the consolidation of medical subspecialties and managing manpower and personnel practices.

Duties

Review statistical and expense reporting data for accuracy, errors, and compliance. Analyze various reports to determine needs for cost distribution. Input medical expense data into Medical Expense and Reporting System (MEPRS) cost management system. Perform leadership tasks such as establishing long and short term goals, delegating tasks, and reviewing quality of work for department employees. Develop training program requirements for existing and new employees.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position is eligible for situational telework pending approval by management.
• This position may require the incumbent to complete a one-year supervisory probationary period.
