You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Special Security Division of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.
If selected, your salary will be set according to the established control points of this position which is $132,368 - $172,694.
Duties
You will serve as a technical expert for all facets of a security program for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) to handle specialized and complex tasks.
You will oversee and implement NAVAIR Sensitive Activities and Intelligence Related Contracting while having relevant knowledge of DoD and DoN industrial security and SCI contracting policies.
You will coordinate all NAVAIR and lower echelon commands SCI contracting efforts and prepare them for the Sensitive Activities and Intelligence Related Contracts (SAIRC) Review Board.
You will provide oversight of the industrial security program by developing recommendations for implementation of policies, procedures, and processes.
You will manage the implementation of SCI contracting and acquisition programs at NAVAIR while providing technical guidance in the development SAIRC packages and follow appropriate security language.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12/13) grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Serving as a technical expert for all facets of a security program for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) to handle specialized and complex tasks; (2) Overseeing and implementing NAVAIR Sensitive Activities and Intelligence Related Contracting while having relevant knowledge of DoD and DoN industrial security and SCI contracting policies; (3) Coordinating all NAVAIR and lower echelon commands SCI contracting efforts and preparing them for the Sensitive Activities and Intelligence Related Contracts (SAIRC) Review Board; (4) Providing oversight of the industrial security program by developing recommendations for implementation of policies, procedures, and processes; and (5) Managing the implementation of SCI contracting and acquisition programs at NAVAIR while providing technical guidance in the development SAIRC packages and following appropriate security language.
