Duties
You will monitor, analyzes and recommend methods for improving systems and data quality
You will monitors equipment life cycle and recommend improvements and programs replacement as needed
You will utilize system data to develop sound business recommendations for the Director and Deputy Director for the efficient use of repair and construction funds.
You will plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of assigned projects from initial plans through development, to final completion.
You will prepare detailed procedures to implement controls, plans, policies, programs, and objectives pertaining to IandE mission.
You will plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems and applications on all MCLB Albany Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS).
You will resolve hardware/software interface and interoperability problems.
You will optimize the functionality of the system.
You will plan, design, develop, test, configure, install, and maintain the MCLB Albany FRCS network enclave.
You will configure, optimize and secure FRCS routers, switches, and firewalls.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position requires which requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitoring equipment life cycle and recommending improvements and programs replacement as needed; Planning and scheduling of new or modified hardware, operating systems and applications on Facility Related Control Systems (FRCS); Monitoring, analyzing and recommending methods for improving systems and data quality; Planning, managing, and coordinating all aspects of assigned projects from initial plans through development, to final completion; Preparing detailed procedures to implement controls, plans, policies, programs, and objectives.
