You will serve as a STRATEGIC PLANNING TEAM LEAD for capability and long-range planning, Industrial Business Operations Department, General Plant Manager, at Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), North Island, CA FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.
Duties
You will plan, manage, and execute logistics management tasks necessary to fulfill the broad scope of project responsibilities.
You will coordinate the actions of team members responsible for establishing and sustaining maintenance, repair, and overhaul capability for aircraft and aircraft systems.
You will provide advice and guidance on the management of the programs from project initiation through business analysis, definition, design, development, installation, maintenance, improvement and enhancement of programs and databases.
You will do other duties assigned to you.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Promoting agency as a maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider to acquire incoming and future aircraft platform workload.; 2) Developing and implementing new program strategies; 3) Analyzing operations of key business industry and contribute to significant agency decisions; 4) Representing agency authoritatively to business officials and organizations; and 5) Planning and managing marketing of agency high-priority products and services.
