Duties
Serves as one of several specialists performing functions and tasks on matters pertaining to Configuration Management (CM) policy and process, Audit Readiness (AR), CM software tools and capabilities,
(continued) Change Management, ECM documentation and CM best practices, activities and actions.
Responsible for planning, directing, advising, and assessing compliance with configuration management IT policies and processes and procedures for systems and infrastructure.
This position provides guidance and advice to J6 representatives, in both the CM function and the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), across the Enterprise and senior leaders with the J6 Directorate
(continued) who are responsible for implementation and execution of DLA Enterprise Configuration Management policy and guidance.
Develops enterprise-wide policies, processes, and procedures which direct and guide the day to day operation,activities and actions of personnel with the J6 Enterprise.
The incumbent analyzes issues and develops method improvements and work simplification methods to improve the effectiveness of CM.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (PLCYPLN/SYSANALYSIS), your resume and supporting documentation must include:
A.Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-13level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
-Analyzes issues and develops method improvements and work simplification methods to improve the effectiveness of Configuration Management.
