You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Pacific Branch, Strategy and Plans Division, Plans, Policies and Operations Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will plan and initiate actions to advise and prepare senior leadership for decisions and key leader engagements related to the overall posture of forces and realignment initiates for Marine Corps forces in the Indo-Pacific.
You will assemble background and reference material and determines all support requirements.
You will manage the staffing and handle congressional requests for information, questions for record and/or special inquiries by receiving, evaluating and referring work to appropriate divisions and offices, or to other entities for staff actions.
You will serve as Lead Action Officer and/or coordinate the activities of various organizational elements on special assignments which require an experienced point of view reflecting executive level thought to accomplish staffing actions.
Requirements

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: plans or initiates actions to advise and prepare senior leadership for decisions and key leader engagements related to the overall posture of forces and realignment initiatives for Marine Corps forces in the Indo-Pacific; and reviews, guides and edits products as needed to ensure executive level quality.
