About the Position: The Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command (AMC), focuses on enabling strategic power projection readiness, total force materiel, and supply chain optimization in support of multi-domain operations.
Duties
Serve as a Supply Management Specialist managing Readiness Prime Vendor Program, Electronic Catalog, Defense Logistics Agency, Local Purchase, and other commercial business practice capabilities.
Develop plans, organizes, coordinates, analyzes, and reports on the acquisition strategies and execution plans for medical materiel requirements.
Analyze, evaluate, monitor, and manage Prime Vendor, Electronic Catalog (ECAT), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and Local Purchase data development and program maintenance for all global readiness acquisition contracts.
Serve as the central control point in meeting all global Centralized Medical Material Management Program structural requirements, organizational milestones, and the effective use of commercial sources.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Developing plans and reports on the acquisition strategies and execution plans for medical material requirements, 2) Identifying expedient and cost-effective supply management sources; and 3) Utilizing automated supply databases for supply procurement management determination. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)
