About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC), in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. USASAC implements Army security assistance programs, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS) of defense articles and services to eligible foreign governments.

Duties

Review financial terms offered to customers upon receipt of implemented Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA). Prepare a variety of reports such as significant events, workload indicators, and historical data in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate the total logistics management program for a foreign country from initial planning stage through case closure. Analyze the effectiveness of foreign military sales (FMS) cases to resolve issues within the organization, with supply sources, and/or with foreign customers.

Requirements

• This position requires a Secret Security Clearance.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
• The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the positions SCW certification level.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
