About the Position: The incumbent of this position performs the duties of the Customer Service Representative (OA) for the Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Business Operations/Integration Division. Provides a variety of clerical, administrative and associated typing/automation duties related to processing and managing service order and work order authorization documents and information.

Duties

Provide courteous and timely customer service to the various customers serviced by the DPW. Manage the work order system and perform office automation work which includes forms and reports. Distribute daily Service Orders (DMO) Reports to customers on work status. Receive Excavation Permit requests, provide information and assistance to authorized requestor.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Administration and ManagementCommunicationsComputer Skills Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
