You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT/SYSADMIN) in the Marine Corps Logistics Command of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.
Duties
You will evaluate program management milestones for an information technology (IT) program.
You will use a remedy ticket (e.g., customer request) system to report metrics on patterns of customer reported issues.
You will discuss operational issues with customers to determine fault troubleshooting operations.
You will diagnose network problems to identify or resolve computer issues.
You will integrate information systems hardware or software to support developmental users.
You will develop maintenance manuals for information technology (IT) system users.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area Technical Support Specialist level II within 12 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 (5CFR Part 2634, Support I USOGE, 6/08).
- Must obtain and maintain the DoD Cybersecurity Workforce Certification Security+ CE in accordance with the most current DoD, DON, and USMC Cybersecurity policy guidance within 6 months of employment.
- Must obtain and maintain an Information Technology Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL) within 6 months.
- Must obtain and maintain an BMC Remedy Incident Manager Certification within 6 months.
- This position is a Cyber Security Workforce Level II.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Plan and deliver customer support services, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training, in response to customer requirements; 2) Troubleshoot, recover, adjust, modify, and improve IT systems in order to provide advice and assistance to customers; 3) Develop clear and concise IT reports and documentation for senior IT management.
