About the Position: The Resource Management Officer's functional responsibility involves total operating program activities assigned to the garrison and satellite activities. Oversees the total operating budget program consisting of separate and distinct budget programs and appropriations.
Duties
Provide oversight regarding financial management activities.
Write statements justifying funding, manpower, or operations requirements.
Exercise responsibility for the continued development, coordination, and evaluation of an effective integrated resource management program.
Provide coordinated financial management, budget services, manpower/management analysis, program management, and Commercial Activities programs in execution of the Garrison's mission and programs.
Through subordinate managers and supervisors assign, direct, and evaluate work of the subordinate organizational elements.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position requires a Secret security clearance.
- Position may require 5% Business Travel.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I Confidential Financial Disclosure Reports) upon entering the position and annually.
- THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT Level 3 Certified position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes executing budget and fiscal activities; Managing and administering complex agreement program; Oversee the administration of civilian and military total workforce and manpower documentation; Developing, analyzing, compiling, coordinating, reviewing, briefing and managing the operating budget; Experience leading, directing and integrating various Resource Management programs.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above]).
